Volunteer Opportunities with Phoenix Children’s Hospital

A top-performing producer during his time with Merrill Lynch and Sutro & Co., financial services professional Mark Love focuses on private investment in promising, technology-focused companies. Mark Love is also involved with multiple nonprofits and organizations serving Phoenix, Arizona. As a member of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital’s Leadership Circle, he contributes to building the medical center’s grant fund.

The Phoenix Children’s Hospital also offers volunteer opportunities where individuals can donate their time. Individuals 16 years old and over can participate as in-hospital volunteers. In this role, they may spend time playing with or teaching hospitalized children, or acting as guides for patients’ families.

The hospital also solicits applications to volunteer for community events such as fundraisers or awareness fairs. Volunteers can also support the on-site animal-assisted therapy initiative coordinated by the organization Paws Can Heal. Interested dog owners can enroll their pets in a therapy dog certification program, while any volunteer can serve as an assistant with the Paws Can Heal program.
