Venture capital consultant and private investor Mark Love supports the work of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. For more than a decade, Mark Love was involved in fundraising efforts as a member of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital Foundation Board.
Donations and gifts contribute to the specialist institutions of the Phoenix Children’s Hospital, such as the Barrow Neurological Institute, which delivers preventative, diagnostic, and restorative treatment for pediatric neurological disorders. Patients can access inpatient and outpatient care for psychiatric, developmental, and neurocritical conditions. Rehabilitation and physical therapy are also offered on-site.
The medical staff members at the Barrow Neurological Institute are specialized in more than two dozen congenital and developmental conditions, including ADHD, autism, Down syndrome, and Fragile X syndrome.
The institute also provides care for acute illnesses and traumatic injuries, such as concussions and strokes. Patients and their families are connected to emotional support services and have access to charitable programs such as the Ronald McDonald House, which provides free accommodations for eligible families.
